Honoka’a, Hawaii – Brantley Center was the most recent beneficiary of the Ohana Fuels ‘Fuel Up. Do Good.’ community giving program. Ohana Fuels partners with nonprofit organizations that serve the needs of the local community, and donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gasoline and diesel purchased at Ohana Fuels stations in that community. The donation made to Brantley Center from first quarter sales at Big Island Ohana Fuels locations was $ 8,795.92.
Contributions provided by Ohana Fuels will be used to support Brantley Center’s mission: “To provide quality rehabilitation services that empower people with special needs to participate independently within their community through vocational skills education, job-readiness classes, or training in independent living skills.” The donation will allow the center to purchase much needed up-to-date equipment. Brantley Center’s Program Director Dareth Pung-Boteilho said, “With the new equipment, we will be able to expand our case load and offer services to additional clients. We are extremely grateful for Ohana Fuels and their generous support of local charities.”
“All of us at Ohana Fuels are proud to support community organizations through our ‘Fuel up. Do good.’ program,” said Kimo Haynes, President of Hawaii Petroleum. These non-profits provide much needed services to help the residents and neighborhoods in the communities where we do business, and we look forward to offering continued support through our sponsorship programs in the future.”
