Wailuku, Hawaii – Parents And Children Together has been selected as the upcoming beneficiary of the Ohana Fuels’ ‘Fuel Up. Do Good.’ program. Ohana Fuels partners with nonprofit organizations serving the needs of the local community, and donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gasoline purchased at all Ohana Fuels stations in that community. During the months of October through December 2024 a portion of all gasoline sales at Maui Ohana Fuels locations will be donated to Parents And Children Together

For more than 50 years, Parents And Children Together has provided community-based services that started at the Towers at Kuhio Park in Kalihi and grew to become a multifaceted, nonprofit social services organization with more than 400 employees throughout the State of Hawaii. Through its social and educational programs in five areas of focus, the local service agency helps over 15,000 parents, children, individuals, and families every year.

Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii to Benefit from Ohana Fuels’ “Fuel up. Do good.” Program.

Friends of The Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii (Friends) has been chosen as the next beneficiary of the impactful Ohana Fuels “Fuel Up. Do Good.” program. As a testament to their commitment to the community, Ohana Fuels partners with nonprofit organizations that cater to local needs and donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gasoline purchased at their stations in that community. From July through September 2024, the proceeds will be contributed to Friends of The Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii, making a tangible difference in the lives of many in our community.

“This Ohana Fuels donation will significantly impact the lives of children suffering from abuse and neglect on our island. So please, “Fuel Up. Do Good.” by purchasing fuel at Ohana Fuels,” stated Robin Benedict, Executive Director of the Friends.

The Friends organization, whose mission is to educate the public, bring awareness to the topic of child abuse, and encourage reporting of abuse, is the last resort for children who have been abused in the East Hawaii community. The Friends fill requests for emergencies, basic needs, after-school activities, sports, dance, music, art, prom, graduation, and more.

Maui Family YMCA to Benefit from Ohana Fuels ‘Fuel Up. Do good.’ Program

Kahului, HI – The Maui Family YMCA has been selected as the upcoming beneficiary of the Ohana Fuels’ ‘Fuel Up. Do Good.’ program. Ohana Fuels partners with non-profit organizations serving the needs of the local community and donates a portion of the proceeds from every gallon of gasoline purchased at all Ohana Fuels stations in that community. During the months of July through September 2024 a portion of all gasoline sales at Maui Ohana Fuels locations will be donated to the Maui Family YMCA.

A portion of every fuel purchase with Ohana Fuels over the three-month period between July and September of 2024 goes directly towards supporting the Maui Family YMCA’s mission of enhancing the quality of life for individuals, families, and our community through programs that foster moral growth and build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
For over 6 decades, The Maui Family YMCA has been working towards accomplishing its’ mission through programs such as Intersession Day Camps, Group & Private Swim Lessons, Group Fitness Classes, and even Music Lessons. Even with the unpredictability brought on by the COVID-19 Pandemic and the 2023 Wildfires, the Maui Family YMCA pivoted its’ resources towards helping the community of Maui by providing free childcare to those most in need, open its’ facility for use as a resource hub, along with future plans to expand into the West Side of Maui by creating a central location for a partnership of non-profits to provide the resources much needed by the West Side Maui community.
