Kahului, Maui– March, 15th 2013 Ohana Fuels partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui and donates $3,295.00 Ohana Fuels, a TOP TIER™ brand of Maui Petroleum Inc., recently donated $3,295.00 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui. “Mahalo for your generosity and for partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui to serve our local youth” said Cynthia Lallo, Director of Development BGCM. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui is a facility based youth development organization serving 4,000 youth on Maui through 6 club houses. In supporting the visioning to fulfill our mission to inspire and enable the youth that need us most to reach their full potential, there remains an additional 25,000 underserved youth in Maui County. In an effort to sustain and expand our programming we must create a culture of philanthropy that will usher in diversified funding streams and stabilize the resources to ensure that we can serve more youth now and into the future with vital programming that saves lives by instilling a sense of belonging, a sense of usefulness, a sense of influence and a sense of competence and that teaches values based on fun, Ohana, respect, character development and education. As part of an ongoing commitment, Ohana Fuels will continue to partner with non-profit organizations that serve the needs of those living in our community by donating a portion of the proceeds from every gallon purchased at Ohana Fuels locations. “Ohana Fuels branded its first location in July of 2012 at Minit Stop Makawao followed by Minit Stop Pukalani and Minit Stop Wakea.
